This policy describes the local Android app delivered under package org.technicallythespians.cuecraft and this two-page website package. It does not claim facts about a future publisher or hosting provider that have not yet been supplied.
Policy scope
This policy covers Cuecraft’s signed Android application and the static files inside its packaged two-page website. The app and website are separate surfaces: the Android behavior described here was checked against the local release build, while hosting behavior cannot be asserted until a publisher selects and configures a host.
Intended audience
Cuecraft is an educational creative tool for people exploring theatre-making, including performers, designers, operators, producers, stage managers, and curious first-time collaborators. It is not a workplace system, school roster, child-directed social service, clinical product, or emergency channel.
App purpose and unofficial status
The Beat Tiles, Department Lanes, cue cards, Paper Tech sequence, and Prompt Book are original Cuecraft editorial tools. They are not Technically Thespians’ official production handbook, cue documentation, calendar, casting or crew application, ticket service, venue system, safety plan, or Microsoft service.
Information collection
The app contains no account system, remote form, telemetry client, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, or network permission. It does not send the user’s cue choices or reflection to Cuecraft, the organization, or a remote server. The app does not request a name, email address, phone number, location, or identifier.
Local cue stacks and reflections
When a user saves a Paper Tech, the selected beat, department, three card identifiers, time of saving, and optional reflection are written to private app storage on that Android device. These entries exist solely to reopen the local Prompt Book. They are not synchronized or published.
Sensitive and production information
The optional reflection is a small private note field, not a secure vault. Do not enter confidential production plans, access codes, personal contact details, health information, employment information, incident reports, protected scripts, or any material you are not authorized to store on the device.
Device permissions
The delivered Android manifest requests no camera, microphone, contacts, calendar, files, precise or approximate location, Bluetooth, notification, phone, sensor, or Internet permission. Cuecraft displays bundled images and stores Prompt Book entries using app-private local storage.
Accounts and sign-in
Cuecraft has no sign-in screen, user profile, password, social login, cloud account, team workspace, public handle, followers, messaging, or identity-verification flow. Saved work belongs to the local app installation rather than to an online identity.
Analytics, ads, and tracking
The app includes no analytics, advertising, attribution, remarketing, behavioral profiling, session replay, crash-reporting network SDK, tracking pixel, or cross-app identifier use. This packaged website contains no advertising or analytics script; its JavaScript only animates local page elements and highlights the visible section.
Network behavior
The Android application does not declare the Internet permission and is designed to operate from bundled code, copy, and media. Links shown as source text inside the app are informational rather than live in-app browsing. If this website is later hosted, ordinary server access logs or host-level cookies may depend on the selected provider; the publisher must update this section before public launch if that behavior exists.
Retention and erasure
Local cue stacks remain until the user deletes an individual stack, uses the two-step erase control, clears the app’s storage in Android settings, or uninstalls the app. Cuecraft has no remote copy to retrieve or erase. Removing website files from a host is a publisher operation outside the local app.
Children and family use
Cuecraft does not knowingly collect personal information from children or anyone else. Younger theatre learners should use the app with an appropriate adult or educator, especially when turning prompts into physical rehearsal activity. The app is not a social network and should not be used to record identifying details about minors.
Security and shared devices
Android app-private storage limits ordinary access by other apps, but a person with access to an unlocked, rooted, backed-up, transferred, or compromised device may be able to see local information. Cuecraft does not add a separate passcode or encryption layer. Keep reflections non-sensitive and erase them before sharing a device.
User controls
Users can build without saving, omit the reflection, reopen saved card details, delete one cue stack, erase the entire Prompt Book after confirmation, clear Android app storage, or uninstall Cuecraft. There is no remote privacy request workflow because no Cuecraft server receives the app data.
External links, venues, and production limits
Organization facts and current opportunities belong on verified organization-controlled surfaces. External sites, venues, ticket services, application forms, workplace systems, and production tools are outside Cuecraft’s operation and may collect information under their own policies. Always follow real production leadership, consent processes, venue rules, and safety procedures.
Changes to this policy
The effective date will change when the app’s actual data behavior, permissions, features, publisher identity, hosting configuration, or third-party dependencies change. A new public version should accompany the changed product. Editing prose alone does not make inaccurate behavior compliant.
